About

Hi, I’m Helen, founder of Bellybambino! Following on from my obsession with storage baskets in a bid to tackle the never ending chaos of my three children’s toys, I created Bellybambino. I wanted to make tidy up time fun, and incorporate stylish designs for kids and grown ups making toy storage practical but beautiful.

We took our business onto BBC1’s Dragons’ Den, series 20, and we managed to secure investment firm one of the Dragons! A terrifying and amazing experience all rolled into one.

Career

The thing I love about working with hand woven seagrass, is that each basket varies slightly in shape, making the face of each of my animals unique with its own personality. Its always a pleasure and surprise to see the finished product smiling proudly back at me.

We use specially formulated dyes, which allow our baskets to retain their flexibility whilst keeping their vibrant colours and durability.

I’m so delighted that the love for my baskets has stretched all around the world with sales as far as New York, LA (Hollywood!), Moscow, Vancouver, Luxembourg, Sydney, Hawaii and Beijing ! We have been shortlisted for several awards, and have won the National Made For Mums Awards two years running! 2021 for best Eco Friendly/Sustainable Product for Families, and 2020 year we won Best Nursery Accessory. I am also incredibly proud to have been named a Finalist at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2021, for the Made in Great Britain Category. We also won ‘best storages’ at the recent Mum Marketplace Awards 2024.

Our baskets have been seen in Vogue, House & Garden Magazine, & Tattler among many more publications.

Our baskets have also recently been recommended by Stacey Solomon and we have a mention in her new book ‘Tap to Tidy’. She says we are one of the top 20 kids brands to check out!

Time slots: 60 minutes, 90 minutes

Information Session:  I will give you a detailed breakdown of what I do, including job responsibilities, ways to start, required skills, educational pathways, industry insights, experiences, etc. and answer any questions that you have about my career. If applicable, I can show you the physical environment(s) in which I work. For those who want to know more about my career / field / role.

Coaching Session: I will provide foundational support for building your business, including skill development, internal processes setup, software / tools guidance, tips, goal-setting, accountability coaching, etc. Please note that I cannot give legal, tax, financial, or medical advice. For those who want actionable advice and career planning help.

Process

1. You purchase my service (please only purchase one service at a time).
2. Once I get your order, I reach out to you over email (the one you used to purchase this order) within 14 days to set a time and date for our virtual meeting.
3. We conduct our virtual meeting over Zoom within 30 days of your purchase (We can meet after 30 days, though the option for a refund will not be available to you from Doll & Dollhouse, so please use your discretion).
