Anne Marie is the founder and owner of sustainable lifestyle and clothing brand, Bitter Grace, and the podcast host of “The Path to Conscious Living.” While she aims to raise awareness on conscious fashion through education and transparency, her greatest mission is to be a guiding source toward authentic self-expression, empowering individuals to express more of who they already are.
Anne Marie advocates for sustainable fashion, emphasizing wearability and longevity. She provides individual, executive, and corporate consulting services, leading individuals to investing in pieces that resonate with lifestyle and personal values. Bitter Grace is not only a brand but also a beacon of mindful consumption, fostering a community that celebrates both individuality and sustainability.
Career
As an immigrant growing up in the DC area, Anne Marie was raised to pursue conventional career routes in government. After completing her Masters in Public Policy, she tried to land the "perfect" job only to be left feeling frustrated and unfulfilled. After years of working in different industries and climbing the corporate ladder, she realized she was chasing other people's dreams and expectations.
She launched Bitter Grace in 2019 online after she envisioned having her own boutique shop that had all of the things she loved in it including clothing and home essentials. She organized a few one-day pop-ups in DC that were all successful, leading her to the idea of opening her own brick and mortar store. In 2020, she opened her first store and experienced great success. She took the leap of faith investing in her business full-time, leaving her corporate position in early 2021. It was the best decision she ever made, enabling her to grow and tap into gifts she never knew she had.
Anne Marie was committed to size inclusivity and offering quality and natural clothing options, leading her to invest in her own clothing line. She launched her first collection at the end of 2021 and her second collection in the Spring of 2023. The opportunity to work with women from all walks of life revealed the importance of image and style, and how it impacts the way we show up and connect with others.
Her greatest mission is to help others reimagine their image and style, and gain clarity on who they want to be, congruent with their values and aspirations. When you begin to embody who you aspire to be, you begin to experience life differently.

Coaching Session: I will provide foundational support for building your business, including skill development, internal processes setup, software / tools guidance, tips, goal-setting, accountability coaching, etc. Please note that I cannot give legal, tax, financial, or medical advice. For those who want actionable advice and career planning help.
