What step could you take today that brings you out of your comfort zone?

Stepping outside of our comfort zone isn't comfortable, even for the most adventurous souls out there. Each time we venture beyond the familiar, we need to muster up courage to take action and face the feeling of uncertainty. The more we practice taking little risks, the more innate it becomes for us to explore (whether physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually).

There are many small risks we could take each day that give us a sense of comfort in unfamiliarity - taking a new route home, holding longer eye contact with strangers, adopting new habits. These experiences put us in a different state of mind, where fresh perspectives and inspiration flow to us. We then feel more confident and motivated to push the boundaries of our exploration.

Your job is to experience happiness and lightheartedness.

What can you do right now that sounds fun, even if it doesn't make sense or contribute to productivity?

We experience "play" - fun, happiness, engagement, flow - in our work when we work for the sake of fun itself. When we use that experience ("am I having fun?") as our standard of success, we not only already reach success, but we also see where the stagnancy currently is.

It’s not about forcing productivity. It's about feeling into what genuinely motivates and inspires us in the moment. What motivates us in the moment may not make sense or seem connected to our larger goals, but those sparks of curiosity often point to the direction where our natural energy wants to flow. Give yourself permission to follow that flow.

Your job is to notice and allow the small, awe-inspiring moments to guide you.

These moments of genuine appreciation (no matter what they're for) allow us to experience life as kids do: "Life is a limitless place of magic!"

Add fairy lights to your space. Light a scented candle when you work. Be present in your relationships. Then, ride that feeling of wonder and let it guide your next creative choice. Orchestrate individual pieces in a way that makes it very easy for wonder to flow throughout each day.
