About
Hello, I'm Ronya, the founder and lead teacher of Redeme Art Studio. As an artist and therapeutic art educator, I specialize in helping individuals de-stress, manage anxiety, and explore ways to live life like a work of art. My journey is as colorful and diverse as the art I create and teach.
I was raised in a vibrant multi-faith and multicultural family, with my Egyptian roots holding a special place in my heart. Unforgettable summers exploring Egypt left an indelible mark on my soul. I marveled at the towering pyramids, was captivated by bustling street markets, indulged in decadent cuisine, and immersed myself in the rich language. These experiences fostered a lifelong passion for diverse cultures and a deep connection to both local community and the larger world.
In addition to my career as a visual artist, I offer workshops and classes designed to support (mainly) women and children with emotional regulation and general wellness. Through therapeutic art, social-emotional learning, and faith-based practices, I help calm intense emotional reactions, infuse life with wonder, and prevent burnout.
My approach is deeply rooted in my own experiences and the transformative power of art (and faith). I've developed methods to help myself and others in my community look fear of the unknown in the face and walk right through it. I've taught thousands of adults and children how to calm their inner critic and nervous system, enabling them to live in ways that truly align with their desires, capabilities, and callings.
Throughout my career, I've dedicated myself to creating spaces where art, faith, and well-being intersect. I've transformed empty storefronts into art galleries, vacant rooms into maker spaces for local kids and families, and even turned a historic silk factory into a haven for creative professionals. These experiences have shown me the power of environment in fostering creativity and personal growth.

Virtual Career Tour: Through video chat, I will walk you through what I do for a living —covering job responsibilities, how to get started, the skills you’ll need, educational paths, insights from my own experience, etc. I'll answer as many of your questions as I can and share practical advice to help you take the next steps if this path aligns with your goals!

While I can share general advice and insights, I am unable to provide region-specific legal, tax, or business setup guidance. However, I can guide you through industry best practices and offer practical steps that are not location-specific.
