About
Career
I'm running a resort located in a tropical touristic island named Koh Samui, in the golf of Thailand. My job is to make sure that guests have a memorable experience when they stay with us. From the check in experience, to their Houskeeping experience, to their breakfast or food, to how they feel about our facilities, which involves the conveniency of them but also their aesthetics and the way they are maintained. It is also to market our place the best we can so we can keep having bookings, and also attract the right guests which we are confident will understand and appreciate who we are, giving them a better value and for us better reviews.
What I love about it is being able to be active and move to all corners of our resort. I also love giving my best efforts to make the guest stay memorable.
Information Session
Time slots: 30 minutes, 60 minutes
Virtual Career Tour: Through video chat, I will walk you through what I do for a living —covering job responsibilities, how to get started, the skills you’ll need, educational paths, insights from my own experience, etc. I'll answer as many of your questions as I can and share practical advice to help you take the next steps if this path aligns with your goals!
In-Person Career Tour: If you are located in Ko Samui, you can come to visit my resort and I will give you a physical walk-through as well as answer all of your questions.
Many of my career responsibilities and insights are applicable worldwide, regardless of where you’re located. While I can share general advice and insights, I am unable to provide region-specific legal, tax, or business setup guidance. However, I can guide you through industry best practices and offer practical steps that are not location-specific.
